Bird Watching in Aurora [0002]: Ring-Billed Gull

It does not take a genius to figure out that this bird is a gull, but what kind of gull it is does take a genius to figure out. I go by the book, but for some reason gulls always seemed very difficult for me to identify. According to my book I came to conclusion that this is a Ring-Billed Gull. This picture was taken on a nice autumn day few days ago, obviously in Aurora, near St. Andrews Golf Course. Enjoy until those days lasts, as we have been experiencing warmer temperatures than normal.
